REACH OUT AND READ

CHOP BOOK DRIVE

Every September we collect books for the REACH OUT AND READ program for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s outpatient offices.  Children aged 6 months through 5 years receive a *brand-new, developmentally & culturally appropriate children’s book
to take home & keep!

"HUNGRY AS A BEAR" WALK

Every spring, our club runs a food drive to support local families through the Robbinsville Food Pantry. The kids are introduced to charitable giving as they collect non-perishable food items from neighbors, family and friends. Afterwards, the kids celebrate their effort by gathering for a 1-mile walk around Town Center lakes.

MOTHER'S DAY DONATION DRIVE FOR HOMEFRONT

For the past 5 years in May, our club has organized a community-wide donation drive for HomeFront’s Family Campus shelter shelter for single homeless first-time mothers. We were able to collect lots of diapers, wipes, nursing pads and other personal care items for new moms and their babies.

BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVE FOR HOMEFRONT

Every year in August our MOMS Club® chapter sponsors a child for the Homefront's Back to School Drive. Homefront is an organization that supports homeless families in the local area. The Back to School Drive helps to make sure these children start out the school year right with a brand new outfit and a backpack full of school supplies.

HALLOWEEN CANDY COLLECTION FOR OPERATION GRATITUDE

Trick or Treat! Each October we organize a local collection of Halloween candy for Operation Gratitude, which sends it to U.S. Troops overseas.

THANKSGIVING DRIVE FOR HOMEFRONT

Every year in November we participate in Homefront’s Thanksgiving Drive, to help make sure local families in need have a full and festive Thanksgiving dinner. Members donate all the trimmings for a traditional home-cooked Thanksgiving meal and we have a special activity for the kids to understand the importance of their donation.

CARDS FOR HOSPITALIZED KIDS

Not every child is so fortunate to spend the holidays at home. Our hand-made holiday cards cheer up pediatric patients at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
